I’m the element of air.
I get heated(angered) if others around me are angry.
I get colder(saddened/depressed) if others around me are depressed.
Walls can’t define me.
I’m free to live how I please.
It’s hard for me to control my surroundings,
But when I’m able to, all hell breaks loose.
I cannot be directly heard.
Only the echoes of my past can be voiced.
I am the element of air.
The agile, unseen, lively air.
~Andrea Morse-Moore
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
-Robert Frost
Tell me when or where
I may find it fair
To ask which is which
Or with whom may I hitch
A ride with to the land
Of fantasies at my hand
So tell me once and maybe twice
Do I have this sort of device?
.
Yes I do, so it must be told
What my land must behold
You don’t think like me, you must confess
My mind is something you will never address
Decide to come inside my mind to see
We both know what to expect is not to be
I tell you today for all to hear
My own true mind is something to fear.
